How standings work

Points, best-rounds counting, and tiebreakers

Each race in a season awards points per finishing position (or listed status), per points group — the table the series publishes (for example a common elite / expert / sport / club split, or a custom one).

Most series don't count every round: a "best X of Y" rule keeps each rider's best X round scores and drops the rest, so a missed or bad round doesn't end a title fight. Dropped scores still show in the standings table, just dimmed.

When two riders finish level on points a tiebreaker decides the rank — commonly the count of wins, then the best last-round result, per the series' published rules. Tied rows show a tiebreak note.
